TERRAIN TABLE Posted by Cirdan [kamarsh@erols.com] on May 25, 1999 Given a lot of the talk lately about terrain rules and whether it's good to play with different types, I went a took a look at a terrain table a friend of mine generated for Chronopia, and tried to see if I could do something similar for Warzone. It's still rough, primarily because we only have rules for two types of terrain as of the Mars release, but I think it's a good start. And it might help people who get a little bored always playing in the slightly forested hills. :> The table works pretty simply. Just roll a d20 and compare your roll to the table. The terrain you roll is what you play with. The parentheses come into play when either side has the corporation named. For example, if one side is playing Capitol, and the die roll is a 17, you get Desert, but if no one is playing Capitol, it's just a normal battlefield. Anyway, use it if you like. d20 Terrain Type 1 Normal (Frozen: Imperial) 2 Frozen 3 Frozen 4 Normal (Frozen: Imperial) 5 Normal 6 Normal (Underground: Mishima) 7 Underground 8 Underground 9 Normal (Underground: Mishima) 10 Normal 11 Normal (Dense Jungle: Bauhaus) 12 Sparse Jungle 13 Dense Jungle 14 Sparse Jungle 15 Normal (Sparse Jungle: Bauhaus) 16 Normal 17 Normal (Desert: Capitol) 18 Desert 19 Desert 20 Normal (Desert: Capitol)
